Head Coach - Kris Soutar

Cults Lawn Tennis Club are proud and pleased to have Kris Souter as Head Coach at the Club. Kris has 14 years experience of full-time coaching and is a highly respected coach throughout the UK.
Kris’s career highlights have been:

· 2001/02 – coached a Scottish National Champion in
                   every age group from U12 – U18
· 2002 – awarded Tennis Scotland Coach of the Year
· 2003 – awarded Aberdeen City Sports Coach of the Year
· 2004 – awarded Aberdeenshire Sports Coach of the Year
· 2006 – Joanna Henderson, pupil of 5 years achieves
              British number 1 ranking in U12 age group.

Kris is currently on the LTA PCA coaching course. This is the highest qualification in the LTA structure and there are only 3 other Scottish coaches who hold this.

Assistant Coach - Ewan Birnie  
Ewan Birnie has the LTA Development Coach Award and is currently in his third year at Robert Gordons University doing Sports Science. Ewan is an excellent tennis player as well as coach and has represented Scotland when he was a junior.
